How the LCS format works
The LCS runs a single table with eight teams, so there are no groups to read across and the standings below are the complete league.
A short league means a short season. With fewer teams there are fewer games, so records stay tightly bunched and tiebreakers decide seeding more often than in the LPL or LCK.
The top finishers advance to playoffs, which set North America's international seeding.

How many teams are in the LCS?
Eight, all in one table. That is fewer than the LCK and LEC at ten and the LPL at twelve, so a single loss moves an LCS team further in the standings than it would elsewhere.
How often do these LCS standings update?
The table reads the official LoL Esports feed and refreshes roughly every ten minutes after a series finishes.
Where can I trade LCS outcomes?
